Why we stocked this car
A proper do-it-all family car - seven seats, solid VW build, and the sort of everyday practicality there's always demand for. This one's better specced than most too: it's got cruise control, which these often go without, plus Apple Car Play and a HD Reverse Camera that lifts it above the usual family runaround. We took it on because it's a genuinely clean, well-equipped example priced sensibly for a seven-seater.

What you should know about Japanese imports
Imports are usually flagged on listings but rarely explained - here's the honest picture so you can buy with confidence.
Lower mileage
Cars in Japan are typically driven far less, so imports often have genuinely lower mileage than UK cars of the same age. On our cars, this is verified against the official export certificate.
Rust-free
Japan uses far less road salt and has a drier climate, so imports avoid the underbody rust common on older UK cars.
Well maintained
Japan has a strong culture of caring for cars, and a strict inspection system (shaken) keeps them in genuinely good condition.
Same spec, insures the same
The models we stock are standard cars - mechanically and structurally identical to their UK versions - so they insure and service exactly like the UK equivalent.
Things to be aware of
- A freshly imported car has just one UK MOT so far - completely normal, as it's only just arrived.
- The original service and ownership documents are Japanese. We're happy to talk you through them.
- We'd always encourage you to come and inspect the car in person - you're welcome to bring someone who knows cars.
Service history
